What is Living Life Counselling?

Living Life Counselling is a charity that provides counselling services for people on low incomes. We help people who can’t afford to access other services. Living Life was founded in Bray in 1996 and now has centres in Dun Laoghaire and Arklow as well as Bray. Living Life delivers a crucial service and in doing so addresses serious personal issues in the community. Without counselling, these problems can lead to mental illness, marital breakdown, domestic violence, truancy, abuse and tragically, suicide. The repercussions impact on everyone in society, not just the individuals involved.

What we do

Living Life provides a broad based, high quality, non-denominational counselling service to people on social welfare and low incomes. The service addresses a wide range of issues such as Depression, Anxiety, Relationships, Addiction, Bereavement, Self Esteem, Anger & Suicide. Counselling is generally provided by voluntary counsellors who work with the service on a part-time basis. Living Life helps clients from 5 years of age upwards. Madeley Epworth

What is counselling

Counselling is a service which provides people with an opportunity to explore issues of concern in a safe & confidential environment. The client & the counsellor work together in a collaborative way toward a mutually agreed set of goals. The kind of problems that people come to counselling to resolve include deep long standing issues as well as present traumas which are impinging on their lives.
